Owner, Executive Director
Jackie Sue Griffin, a former journalist who uses transformational stories to expand nonprofit and human services, is the owner and executive director of Jackie Sue Griffin & Associates,
Her mastery of written and oral communications has resulted in procuring more than $2.5 billion in government grants to expand behavioral health and systems of care services in partnership with Turnaround Life and Turnaround Achievement Network. Based on her 33 years of working with nonprofit leaders, she has proven competencies in grant development, grant management, evaluation, and performance assessment. She provides technical assistance in strategic prevention framework, community assessment, board development, strategic planning, and sustainability.
Jackie is the former vice president of development for Operation PAR and executive director of the LiveFree! Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Pinellas County, Florida. She has taught undergraduate and graduate students at Springfield College as an adjunct instructor for 22 years.
Jackie has a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management and a Master of Science in organizational management and leadership, both from Springfield College. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Writing and English from the University of Tampa.
Ms. Griffin is the former Vice President of Development for Operation PAR, Inc. and served as executive director of the LiveFree! Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Pinellas County, Fla. During her 17-year tenure, her work as a lead grant writer, project designer, and community advocate spearheaded efforts in securing $47 million in competitive grants and $43 million in non-competitive discretionary grants.
Ms. Griffin has taught undergraduate and graduate students at Springfield College as an adjunct instructor for 19 years. She is the president of the Community Advisory Board for Springfield.
Ms. Griffin has a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in nonprofit management and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Management and Leadership, both from Springfield College. Ms. Griffin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing and English from the University of Tampa, which she attended through a four-year academic scholarship.
Jennifer Vickery, CEO of National Strategies Public Relations, partners with Jackie Sue Griffin & Associates to help nonprofits and organizations reach their full potential of improving communities and the people that live within them. We assist with education, strategic planning and the implementation of Public Relations and Marketing programs that bring awareness to important causes and issues. We work with JSG & Associates to provide monthly Nonprofit Bootcamp seminars.
Brandi Ross serves as an Executive and Lifestyle Coach, dedicated to advancing wellness initiatives for both JSG & Associates and their diverse clientele. Leveraging her expertise in personal and professional development, Brandi provides targeted coaching to foster well-being and optimize performance.
Joy Bracey, Ed.D., LPC, NCC has spent over 10 years as the President & CEO of a non-profit addiction treatment & mental health agency while serving in leadership roles on numerous local and national boards, coalitions, and advisory councils.
Sylvie Trevena is a Communications Consultant for JSG & Associates. She is a professional writer with a strong focus on LGBTQI+ advocacy, mental health, and inclusion for all. She has worked in nonprofit organizations since 2016 with roles that include data collection, program evaluation, blog writing, operations management, and education. She received her MBA with a nonprofit concentration from Springfield College and holds a BS from the University of South Florida in Behavioral Health. Ms. Trevena has been a free-lance columnist for Watermark Publishing Group since 2018. She is a member of PFLAG and Kiwanis of Plant City.
